The Foundation grew out of graduate research at the University of Calgary on protecting seniors from cyber fraud. Shah Zaib and Harshad Krishnaraj co-authored a paper on this issue for the National Student Paper Competition.
That research pointed to a clear need: scam education people can actually use, at home, at the library, at the bank, or with family. The Foundation exists to deliver it.
